Our actual audit process for each SMSF audit is made up of 3 simple steps:
- Completion of the SMSF information checklist and forward of all requested information to us for the current year.
- We carry out our detailed audit procedures on the information provided.
- Provided that no further info is required and no contraventions occur, we prepare our management letter, audit report and fee.
We aim to gather all required information using a single client checklist ensuring any important permanent information is retained electronically for future audits and preventing duplication requests in the future.
Once the checklist has been completed and the information submitted, we can carry out and complete our audit work.
We use technology and software to our advantage with a fully electronic audit file eliminating delays in what was previously a slower process. We may be able to integrate with your software.
Our audit systems are continually evolving with changes in legislation and technology.
This has enabled us to create a process for the audit of our new and existing clients with the least possible disruption.
